These snapshots are a brief moment in time, moments that touched my mind and soul through nature, through my fellow human beings, through my pets and other wildlife, and through moments of reflection in my meditations, in prayer and at Holy Mass. They have called me and touched me, as I pray they do you as well!
My mom used to tell me, “Keep your eyes open today. God’s going to reach out and touch you.” And so He has – countless times. God reaches out to us in the beauty, joy, peace and humour we encounter all around us in any given moment. He sends those messages of love constantly, heavenly “stickie notes” that tug on my heart!
A moment of time – preserved as an actual snapshot or in prose and poetry, that I am sharing with you. I believe you can easily and quickly develop the same beautiful habit of capturing those moments in front of you as well. And remember, be ready … God is going to reach out and touch you today!
